Cortney’s lifelong pursuit of all things creative has followed her from a modest home in the heart of Alabama where her mother would paint cartoon characters on their bedroom walls, to California, North Carolina, and back again where she’s dabbled in everything from photography, culinary arts, writing, illustration, content and copyediting, graphic design and painting. Cortney is known for her “can-do” upbeat attitude, fast turnaround time, clear communication and playful quick wit.

These days she’s busy completing her bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing with a concentration in Nonfiction Writing, working as the AODE Facilitator, Marketing Support, and Social Media Manager for The Haven at College, picking up the occasional freelance project, homeschooling, reading (oftentimes simply hoarding) new books, and spending time with her husband, three children and their two dogs in a little mountain town in Southern California.
